**Note - some GritGuard buckets do NOT have the GG log on them, so you may receive a plain white bucket instead of the one with the logo embossed. The quality will be the same high quality as the ones with the logo.

TIPS:

For best results, we recommend using the same 2-bucket wash method that professional detailers use. Use one bucket, insert, and lid for your WASH solution, and a second for your RINSE solution. Dip your wash mitt into the WASH bucket, suds the vehicle, and dip into the RINSE bucket and repeat.

In order to keep shipping costs down, when multiple buckets are ordered, only one will be shipped assembled (in order that they may be stacked in the shipping box). The additional buckets will ship without the lid attached. Use a mallet or dead blow hammer to install the gamma lid ring.

If you prefer to not do this assembly, let us know when you order and we can ship in separate boxes for an additional shipping fee.

I didn't realize how much small particles of dust and dirt cling to your washing mitt till I used this. Just to think about using the mitt w/o the guard, you're literally scratching your rig with dirt. Just make sure to rub the mitt against the guard when you dunk it back into the bucket.

When my friend bought a new rig, I bought this for him and he's used it since.

Great product, works as advertised. I purchased this grit guard because I am trying to prepare myself for future quality car washes with the vehicles I have at my house to reduce the scratches and swirl marks that get pushed into the paint. Makes it extremely easy to see the dirt that gets trapped at the bottom of the bucket.

This Product Works!

This product does exactly what it's supposed to. Place it in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and all the dirt from your car wash sponge or brush passes through it and ends up in the bucket bottom so you're not continuously dipping the sponge in dirty water. It also works for degreasing parts in a bucket; the "gunk" goes to the bottom as you're spraying the parts. You can stack them to get more height if needed.

It does not work for washing dirty brass cartridge cases unless they are very large. All the popular-sized cases will fall through the openings and end up in bottom of the bucket. I thought I could wash the stainless steel pins out of my brass with a garden hose but it didn't work.

This product still does exactly what it was designed to do and functions very well. You will like it so order more than one!
