For larger vehicles, or if you intend on applying to undercarriage, suspension, or other parts, we recommend 2 bottles. *Can be poured into a small atomizing spray bottle or touchup spray gun for easier application to suspension and other undercarriage parts. Will use more product. Installation Information: In addition to this kit you will need at least two but ideally four high quality microfiber towels Ensure that your vehicle is out of direct sunlight but warmer than 41 degrees F, is completely dry and will stay dry for at least 12 hours after application If needed, polish your paintwork either by machine or by hand to remove any imperfections Thoroughly clean and dry all surfaces to be coated, with a final wipe down with All Surface Cleaner Put on the nitrile gloves provided Drop several (between 5 and 10) drops of product onto the applicator provided. Work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation Paint/Vinyl Wraps: Apply with applicator provided in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2’ x 2’, or work to the body lines of the vehicle If the surface of the vehicle is between 41 and 60 degrees F, wait for two minutes and then fold your first towel twice to form a square, spread and remove most of the residue using a light touch. If the surface is between 60 and 77 wait for one minute and for temperatures above this, remove immediately With your second folded cloth remove all remaining residues. We advise to move your head so that you get direct and oblique views of your finish to spot all residue. It is also advisable to use bright, but flat lighting, to make residue spotting easier Once you have finished coating your vehicle we recommend repeating the process starting from the same place as you did for the first layer and coating panels in the same order so that you coat your entire vehicle with two layers of ARMOR. You do not need to wait between applying the first and second coating but it will not make it harder to apply the second coating if you do leave a much longer interval between applying the first and second layer Allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours before getting wet We recommend allowing at least one week pass before washing your rig Barricade/Suspension/Bumpers/Other Parts: In addition to the instructions above, you may use the following installation options on these parts: Apply to most bumpers as you would paint, Barricade bedliner or rough bumpers may leave microfiber residue/fibers, so you may wish to wipe on and let dry without removing excess. You can also use a small HVLP gun to spray onto the surface for parts that don't need to be wiped. CAUTION - wear eye and lung protection when doing so. For suspension, a wipe on/leave on technique works well, no need to remove the excess product. ARMOR can be poured into a small atomizing spray bottle for easier application, simply spray and leave on suspension parts. Note - this will use more product. Should it become harder to clean, diluted purple power or other cleaner and a soft/medium bristle brush. COLORS - you must do a spray out test to ensure the color is as you expect, both in sunlight and out. Colors can vary greatly, and even how people perceive them. We cannot provide refunds or replacement product beyond the first bottle of product if you do not like the finished color. POSSIBLE STAINING - Barricade is a plastic polymer based product. CLEANING PRIOR TO COATING: Remove or replace rotted areas in wood and other surfaces, fill with paintable filler as necessary, sand as needed for best adhesion. Clean areas with waterborne degreaser. New surfaces need only light cleaning, used surfaces such as floors require more, with attention to oil and fuel spills. All oils, fuels, and grease must be completely removed for proper adhesion. Rinse thoroughly and allow to completely dry. Mask as needed, remove tape before coating dries. APPLICATION: PRODUCT IS READY TO USE. DO NOT ADD WATER OR SOLVENTS. Use eye, skin, & respiratory protection with adequate ventilation; may stain clothing. Use 3/8” smooth or semi-smooth foam roller. *IMPORTANT - Apply at minimum of 60°F - surfaces should remain above 60°F for the duration of the application and curing process. Do not apply in direct sunlight. *Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the product failing. Apply to vertical surfaces first, then horizontal surfaces. Apply full coat on all surfaces at a thickness of 30-40mils (0.7-1.0mm). Do not force roller onto surface, coating should be applied thicker than when applying paint. Two thin coats may be applied instead of a single thick one. Wait 1 hour between coats. Clean up wet coating with water & towels; dry coating may be mechanically removed/scraped. Some surfaces may be damaged (plywood/osb) when attempting dry coating removal. Product cures in 3 stages: Dries to the touch in 90 minutes at 75°F and 40% humidity. Fully cured in 24 hours at 75°F and 40% humidity. Cooler temps (do not go below 60°) and higher humidity will require more time. Fully cross linked (final cure) in 7-12 days. Allow coating to fully cure before getting wet or exposing to temps below 60°. Coating may be painted after fully cured, but fully cross linked is desirable for best results. Do not expose coating to heavy duty use until fully cross linked. Thoroughly clean application tools and other areas prior to drying to touch, remove tape if used. STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place 45°-85° out of sunlight. Do not allow to freeze! Make sure your application is thorough as once REPEL has dried, you cannot apply a second coat, as the first coat will repel additional product While wearing protective gloves, rub the product into the fabric thoroughly to ensure it has penetrated. Photo Note - the suspension and fender on this Jeep were coated prior to 6 days in Moab, and 1400 miles on a trailer through mud, ice, and snow. As you can see, the springs, steering, shocks, and under side of the fenders are clean.  HOW TO USE: Coverage - a single 50ml bottle will cover most 4x4s like Jeeps, including bumpers and fenders. For larger vehicles, or if you intend on applying to undercarriage, suspension, or other parts, we recommend 2 bottles. *Can be poured into a small atomizing spray bottle or touchup spray gun for easier application to suspension and other undercarriage parts. Will use more product. Installation Information: In addition to this kit you will need at least two but ideally four high quality microfiber towels Ensure that your vehicle is out of direct sunlight but warmer than 41 degrees F, is completely dry and will stay dry for at least 12 hours after application If needed, polish your paintwork either by machine or by hand to remove any imperfections Thoroughly clean and dry all surfaces to be coated, with a final wipe down with All Surface Cleaner Put on the nitrile gloves provided Drop several (between 5 and 10) drops of product onto the applicator provided. Work the liquid into the pad to get an even saturation Paint/Vinyl Wraps: Apply with applicator provided in overlapping strokes to an area roughly 2’ x 2’, or work to the body lines of the vehicle If the surface of the vehicle is between 41 and 60 degrees F, wait for two minutes and then fold your first towel twice to form a square, spread and remove most of the residue using a light touch. If the surface is between 60 and 77 wait for one minute and for temperatures above this, remove immediately With your second folded cloth remove all remaining residues. We advise to move your head so that you get direct and oblique views of your finish to spot all residue. It is also advisable to use bright, but flat lighting, to make residue spotting easier Once you have finished coating your vehicle we recommend repeating the process starting from the same place as you did for the first layer and coating panels in the same order so that you coat your entire vehicle with two layers of ARMOR. You do not need to wait between applying the first and second coating but it will not make it harder to apply the second coating if you do leave a much longer interval between applying the first and second layer Allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours before getting wet We recommend allowing at least one week pass before washing your rig Barricade/Suspension/Bumpers/Other Parts: In addition to the instructions above, you may use the following installation options on these parts: Apply to most bumpers as you would paint, Barricade bedliner or rough bumpers may leave microfiber residue/fibers, so you may wish to wipe on and let dry without removing excess. You can also use a small HVLP gun to spray onto the surface for parts that don't need to be wiped. CAUTION - wear eye and lung protection when doing so. For suspension, a wipe on/leave on technique works well, no need to remove the excess product. ARMOR can be poured into a small atomizing spray bottle for easier application, simply spray and leave on suspension parts. Note - this will use more product. Use eye, skin, & respiratory protection with adequate ventilation; may stain clothing. Use 3/8” smooth or semi-smooth foam roller. *IMPORTANT - Apply at minimum of 60°F - surfaces should remain above 60°F for the duration of the application and curing process. Do not apply in direct sunlight. *Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the product failing. Apply to vertical surfaces first, then horizontal surfaces. Apply full coat on all surfaces at a thickness of 30-40mils (0.7-1.0mm). Do not force roller onto surface, coating should be applied thicker than when applying paint. Two thin coats may be applied instead of a single thick one. Wait 1 hour between coats. Clean up wet coating with water & towels; dry coating may be mechanically removed/scraped. Some surfaces may be damaged (plywood/osb) when attempting dry coating removal. Product cures in 3 stages: Dries to the touch in 90 minutes at 75°F and 40% humidity. Fully cured in 24 hours at 75°F and 40% humidity. Cooler temps (do not go below 60°) and higher humidity will require more time. Fully cross linked (final cure) in 7-12 days. Allow coating to fully cure before getting wet or exposing to temps below 60°. Coating may be painted after fully cured, but fully cross linked is desirable for best results. Do not expose coating to heavy duty use until fully cross linked. Thoroughly clean application tools and other areas prior to drying to touch, remove tape if used.
